This is the big brother to the Rattlin’ Chug Bug® with a bigger profile for saltwater fishing, more saltwater specific color patterns, a teaser tail, and VMC® Perma steel hooks to get the fish to boat. Includes weighted tail for long casts, back teaser tail hook and has a specific loud rattle.

PROREX SCREW-IN INSERT GLASS RATTLE

These rattles can be fixed to the soft plastic lure at any position. The small steel balls in the glass shell produce a slight clattering noise and thus can provoke the bite reflex in certain situations. Ideal in combination with the Prorex Screw-In system.

Lil’ Bug is a surface wobbler – so called „tracer”. As you can derive from the name, it tempts the fish by disturbing the water surface and creating a „trace” or wave. This lets the predator to register the lure even when the water is a less than clear. Inside the body of the lure (the 3cm version) we installed a special casting system called the Salmo Infinity Cast System (SICS). This special construction lets you cast on incredible distances and therefore reach the furthest reaches of the lake. Lil’ Bug was also fitted with incredibly sharp and strong treble hooks designed in Japan.
Lil’ Bug is especially recommended for catching chub, ide and asp, but it can also be effective on other species that feed close to the water surface (perch, trout).

Pike is one of the oldest models in the Salmo family. It is impossible to count the number of huge specimen pike caught on this lure. This versatile crankbait is offered in a number of sizes and depth patterns. In 9, 11, 13 and 16 cm sizes and as a shallow runner (SR), floating (F), deep runner (DR) and super deep runner (SDR) and in one or two piece jointed body versions (J).
